Baby Zone & Toddler Zone
The Baby Zone is for birth to steady walkers.
The Toddler Zone welcomes steady walkers up to 33 months.
The “BTZ” (Baby & Toddler Zones) are open during both services each Sunday and are located on the first floor, in the Kidz Zone hallway.
Parents of Babies and Toddlers – A limited number of silent pagers are available in the BTZ for newcomers or children who may feel insecure on a given morning. We can also text you during the morning. Please let us know your preference upon check-in.
Our Mission is to support our families by providing the best care possible for your child! Our Goal is to provide a warm, loving, and safe place where a little child can experience the love of Jesus.
Serving Opportunities
BTZ Support Team – Enjoy cleaning and working behind the scenes? The Baby Toddler Zone seeks individuals to join the team to clean and keep supplies stocked on a once-per-month rotation. Tasks would take 30-45 minutes, and must be done on Saturdays or Sundays before church services. Contact Sue Johnson if you are interested, 507.993.7385 or sjjk9rn@gmail.com.
BTZ Staff – Do you enjoy children? We have openings for regular rotation workers in the Baby/Toddler Zone. You would serve one Sunday a month for one service. Please contact Cheri, calooman@gmail.com, 507-312-0132. The Baby and Toddler Zone staffing is a cooperative of loving volunteers that have been screened to better ensure the safety of your child. Parents are encouraged to take a turn once per month along side other adults as a part of our BTZ staff.

Enjoy joining the church family to pray, meet, learn and serve with each other beyond Sundays. You can post and read discussions and serving opportunities. You can view and register for upcoming events. You can join a group and keep up to date with your group members!
When Should I Transition My Child Into The KidzZone Preschool Program?
If your child is in the Toddler Zone, you may be wondering when it is time to transition into Preschool. The Toddler Zone welcomes steady walkers up to 33 months of age. Our youngest Preschool class, the “lamb” room, welcomes children 24 months and up. As you can see, there is an overlap because children develop at their own unique pace.
Our hope is that your child will be fully engaged while they are with us. You and your BTZ leader may notice some signs showing your child is ready to move to the Lamb room. If your child is potty trained and is ready for more structured learning during his or her time here then your child may be ready to move into the KidzZone lamb room (#108). Feel free to make that move. We may also contact you personally if we see signs that your child is ready to transition.
