Greeters
Visiting a church can be an intimidating or confusing experience. The Greeter’s Ministry serves people coming to Pleasant Valley Church by: *Greeting them as they enter our church, introducing ourselves in a friendly, non-threatening manner, answering questions, escorting them to the Nursery, Kidz Zone, etc…
*The Greeter’s Ministry team is always looking for people who are friendly, enjoy meeting and greeting people, and helping guests.

Whether attenders need direction, information on an upcoming class, contact information, or just have a question, this helpful team is here to meet their needs. Parking Attendants
In a growing church, parking space is a real premium. The Parking Ministry Team serves people by helping them locate parking and reduce the “search and park” stage of coming to Pleasant Valley Church. It also increases the number of cars that are able to park in our available space by helping people park in an efficient manner.
In light of the demand for parking on Sunday mornings, this ministry is vitally important. This is a great ministry for individuals who enjoy serving others, and enjoy being outside (or at least don’t mind it on cold Minnesota mornings).
The Parking Ministry Team is in need of several more people. The ideal would be to have enough committed, faithful people to create a rotating schedule. If you would like to join the team, please contact the church office at pv@pvwinona.com
Sunday Morning Snow Removal Team - We are seeking a few individuals to form a rotation for shoveling sidewalks on Sunday mornings when needed. Please click “count me in” on the serve wall entry on the Table, or call the office, 452.5518.

In a growing church, safety is a concern. The SafetyTeam is in place to keep our children, building, and offices safe. The team patrols hallways during both services. If you would like to join the team, please contact Dave DeGallier at ddegall@1-cs.com

Sunday Morning Coffee Team
Each Sunday, between services, coffee is served in our Fellowship Area. The area is staffed on a monthly basis by Pleasant Valley small groups. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Roxanne Ready at rready@fastenal.com
What’s the Table? The Table is a relational, online web application, custom-tailored for Pleasant church. We aim to engage the community, empower leaders, and move people beyond the pews and into authentic, life-changing friendships. If you have not already joined the Table, here’ s how:1) Go to the home page of this site, click on “the table” button.
2) Click “I’m new here”
3) Click “Join” and follow the steps to sign-up.
4) Fill out your profile and make sure to add a picture.
Enjoy joining the church family to pray, meet, learn and serve with each other beyond Sundays. You can post and read discussions and serving opportunities. You can view and register for upcoming events. You can join a group and keep up to date with your group members!
Ushers
The First Impressions Team seeks both men and women ushers to serve during one service per month. Please contact Kevin Ewert, 313.6133.
The Usher Ministry serves people coming to Pleasant Valley church by carrying out several crucial tasks.
Create a warm, friendly atmosphere before, during, and after our worship services.
Serving people as they enter the worship service by greeting them, offering a bulletin, helping them find a seat if necessary, and providing whatever other guidance or help they may need.
Serving people by helping with other necessary functions of the worship service: offering, attendance count, etc.
Provide for a smooth, orderly process for people entering and leaving church services.
The Usher Ministry uses teams of Ushers that work together on a regularly scheduled, rotating basis. Each team has a team leader and a group of ushers.
There is need for individuals who desire to serve Christ and the many people of Pleasant Valley Church by committing to become a team leader of an usher team or an usher.
