a time of study and fellowship for those in their senior years

About Our Ministry:
Senior Ministries focuses on those who are at least fifty-five years of age. We meet informally the second Tuesday of every month except in August. Meetings usually include a meal or light refreshment, socializing, a little humor, a short devotional based on God’s Word and a program of special, current interest to Seniors. Meetings are two hours long or less. Each meeting is publicized with time and location in the Sunday bulletin and under “Upcoming Events” (below), please RSVP by using the tear-off response card in your bulletin or by calling Bob Bollant, 454.4278.
We encourage all seniors from Pleasant Valley to be a part of this ministry and especially welcome those from the Winona community.
Special events include an annual Indoor Picnic in July and Christmas Brunch in December. A special offering is taken in December for a missionary or ministry.

My husband and I have enjoyed the privilege of coming to the Senior Ministries meetings. It has been a rewarding experience with a wealth of information shared by the speakers. It is such a blessing to find a group that is interested in spiritual topics and is Christ centered. The Senior Ministries fellowship is an enjoyable time for us to intermingle with fellow believers. The guest speakers have always been a blessing to us in that we’ve been made more aware of how God works in all of our lives. Considering the size of our congregation, Senior Ministries enables us to become better acquainted with others. We feel we continue to grow spiritually since becoming a part of this ministry.
