1Thessalonians 5:24

“The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it.”

This comforts me when it gets tough, like the last 3 years, due to Corona and its after-effects. It was not easy, we had fewer children which caused the financial demand to be very high.

In the youth clubs, many of the teenagers have grown up, and they will join the older youth club this year. We will be starting a new group of 10-13 years to bring up.

Last Christmas Sunday school teachers had a good lesson and teaching aids by CEF to talk about Christmas to their classes. It was such a blessing to see the gospel unfold instead of children going into Christmas with only the spirit of parties.

With the school, we were blessed with good results. Some of our secondary school children won the Science and Math competitions last year up to the provincial level. The 7 and 10 grades wrote national exams which many from the government schools failed a lot but, by God’s grace, we got a 100 percent pass.

We also had a good retreat for the young adults who grew up in our clubs but are now working. It was so good to see them still connected with God.

We had a good time of retreat with teachers, 2 guests were invited to teach. It gave a good time of knowing one another better and also reflecting on our work.

We opened our preschool in February; primary and secondary in January.

Prayer items:

1.  Thank God with us that we have a lot of students this year; God opened the door for us through the 100 percent pass of those who did the national exam. Another factor of parents bringing children to our school, is they say it’s for safety, saying that children are getting rough as alcohol and drugs are starting to be a problem even among school children. They think it is best to send the children to our school as a Christian school and where they are taken by cars, closed in the schoolyard the whole day till going back for safety.

2.  Please pray for the clubs that we are reopening this month, that God will send children to attend, and that they will be saved.

3.  Please pray for the Sunday school teachers we are training to be dedicated to teaching at their churches.

4.  We have started to add 4 classrooms by faith at the secondary school as the children are increasing, having no cash for it but trust God, please pray with us that God will provide.

5.  Pray that God will help us work with all students at our school so that they will see Jesus and be converted, especially that we have a lot of new ones from other schools.
